Welcome to the Udaipur Bird Festival. By registering for, participating in, or attending any activities or events organized under the festival, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

  1. The Udaipur Bird Festival is organized by the official authorities and partners associated with the event.
  2. These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, visitors, volunteers, exhibitors, and vendors.
  3. The organizers reserve the right to modify, update, or change any part of these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.

2. Registration & Participation

  1. Registration is mandatory for activities such as Bird Race, Workshops, Field Trips, Competitions, and other paid or free events.
  2. All information submitted during registration must be accurate and complete.
  3. Registration fees (if any) are non-refundable except in cases of event cancellation by the organizers.
  4. Participants must carry valid ID proof during the event.

3. Code of Conduct

  1. Participants must behave responsibly and respectfully toward fellow participants, organizers, volunteers, and local communities.
  2. Any kind of harassment, misbehavior, discrimination, or disruptive activity will not be tolerated.
  3. Use of alcohol, illegal substances, or weapons at festival venues is strictly prohibited.
  4. Participants must follow instructions given by event coordinators and field experts during birding trails and field activities.

4. Safety & Liability

  1. Birdwatching and outdoor activities involve natural risks. Participants take part at their own responsibility.
  2. The organizers are not responsible for:
    • Personal injury or health issues
    • Loss of personal belongings
    • Weather conditions affecting event operations
  3. Participants must follow all safety guidelines, including trekking, walking trails, and wildlife interaction rules.
  4. Any medical emergency should be immediately reported to the event staff. Limited first-aid assistance may be available.

5. Environmental Guidelines

  1. The event promotes wildlife conservation. Participants must:
    • Avoid disturbing birds and wildlife
    • Not play bird calls or cause noise pollution
    • Not litter in any venue or natural area
    • Respect all nature reserves, lakes, forests, and protected sites
  2. Participants must stay on designated birding routes and avoid restricted or unsafe areas.

6. Photography & Media Consent

  1. Photography and videography may take place during the festival.
  2. By participating, you grant the organizers permission to use your images, videos, or event activities for promotional, educational, or documentation purposes.
  3. Participants must avoid using flash or techniques that disturb birds.

7. Payments & Refund Policy

  1. Fees for Bird Race or other ticketed events must be paid online through approved methods.
  2. Payments once made are non-refundable unless the event is officially cancelled.
  3. Any transaction error must be reported within 24 hours to the support team.

8. Event Changes & Cancellation

  1. The organizers reserve the right to change schedules, venues, speaker sessions, or activities due to weather, safety, or administrative reasons.
  2. In case of cancellation, participants will be notified through official channels.
  3. The organizers are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs in case of changes or cancellations.

9. Prohibited Activities

The following are not allowed:

  • Feeding birds or wildlife
  • Disturbing nests or habitats
  • Use of drones without official permission
  • Commercial activity without prior approval
  • Unauthorized entry into restricted zones

10. Privacy Policy

  1. Personal data collected during registration will be used only for event-related communication and management.
  2. The festival does not sell or share personal information with third parties except for required official coordination.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By attending the Udaipur Bird Festival, you acknowledge that:
